Para darle continuidad a las capacitaciones realizadas el año pasado, donde se instruyó a más de 50 funcionarios de la Subsecretaría de Prevención del Delito de Chile en la Metodología CPTED ® nivel introductorio, se ha iniciado con éxito el nuevo Diplomado en Metodología CPTED ® nivel Intermedio, donde cerca de 60 funcionarios de este mismo departamento de gobierno, avanzarán en sus conocimientos de Prevención del Delito Mediante Diseño Ambiental.

En esta oportunidad y bajo los escenarios de crisis en el que Chile se encuentra, la capacitación nivel Intermedio, además de sus relatores internacionales usuales: Macarena Rau Vargas actual presidenta de la ICA, Paulina Castillo Presidenta de Corporación CPTED Región, Melissa Valdez López Jefa de Proyectos de PBK Consulting e Isamar Quiroga Jefa de análisis de PBK Consulting, se incorporaron a las jornadas presenciales, miembros activos de la ICA, con especialidades en criminología que ayudarán a los alumnos a descubrir estrategias de prevención en escenarios de crisis como los que se viven actualmente en el país.

Tal es el caso de Greg Saville, cofundador de la ICA, diseñador urbano certificado con especialización en CPTED ® y ha desarrollado el método SafeGrowth®; Mateja Mihinjac, Directora y Secretaria en el comité ejecutivo de la ICA es criminalista e investigadora de Eslovenia es certificada en el programa SafeGrowth® y ha realizado impartición conjunta de talleres de SafeGrowth® colaborado con Greg Saville. Ambos miembros de la ICA expusieron el método SafeGriwth®.

También como parte de esta jornada presencial de capacitación CPTED ® , estuvo Tim Pascoe quien es conocido internacionalmente en el área de diseño y gestión en contra de la delincuencia y que en esta oportunidad expuso acerca de los ataques terroristas al metro de Londres.

Por su parte las relatoras expusieron los temas que se verán en los contenidos de los 6 módulos que incluye esta capacitación y que tienen que ver con la seguridad de barrios comerciales, barrios residenciales, el uso de la tecnología de seguridad, transporte seguro, espacios urbanos seguros e infraestructura y escuela segura.

Los conocimientos en metodología CPTED ® son parte del Sello de Seguridad que imparte la Subsecretaría de Prevención del Delito de Chile y a su vez este se imparte a nivel nacional, como parte del programa para Seguridad Ciudadana del país.

Con estos esfuerzos, la ICA y PBK Consulting establecen los conocimientos base para enfrentar las crisis actuales, tanto de Chile como de Latinoamérica.

ICA joins Publika Consulting, to carry out face-to-face training in the Secretariat of Crime Prevention of Chile.

The knowledge in CPTED ® methodology is part of the Security Seal issued by the Subsecretariat of Crime Prevention of Chile and in turn this is taught nationwide, as part of the program for Citizen Security of the country.

With these efforts, ICA and PBK Consulting establish the basic knowledge to face the current crises, both in Chile and Latin America.
